Well today I want to write you a short note about something none of us knows anything about in depth - perfection. Since I know so little about perfection it will be a short note.

Think about the simple fact that when God made each creature of the earth He made them perfectly the first time. There are no recalls of grasshoppers for leg upgrades or recall of bird's wings for structural problems. There is no Lion V2.0.C. - Beta. God made creation perfectly, and He did it perfectly the first time. If we know nothing more about God then that is enough to call us to worship and adore Him.

God is worthy of worship not just because of who He is, but because of what He does and how He does it. Too many times we try to find a complex and "religious" answer to why we worship God, and of course the root of our worship is Jesus, and His death on the cross for our sins. However, God was worthy of worship before Christ came. This is because of His love and care for His people, even when they rebel, and because He cared so much that He created a perfect world for us to live in, even when we are rebelling. Christ was just the final perfect installment to the already perfect world that He created for His chosen.

I am sure if we were given the ability to create a world for people that we knew were going to rebel, complain, and junk the place up with their owns creations that we would likely not aim for perfection. Our mind set would be that they do not care enough for us, or for our work, to routinely contact us or to even try to maintain what we gave them. So why give them the good stuff. They deserve the flawed animals, the imperfect trees, and the worthless soil. My point in this is that God made a perfect world, with perfect trees, with perfect animals, etc even though He knew that we would not treat Him or it with respect most of the time. What a loving God we serve.

Yes I do know animals adapt or change to their environments. That is not a sign of lack of perfection, but reinforces the fact that God did make things perfect for this earth. God’s creatures are so perfect that they are able to adapt to where ever they are, without the help of other creatures or a direct intervention of their Creator. Now I am not going all tree hugger liberal or anything, but I just have been thinking about how perfect God made the world for us and how He did not have to "upgrade" or "update" or "revise" it afterwards. We are the apple of His eye to steal a old country saying. We are His pride and joy. We are His crowning achievement. We were created to worship Him. These are all things that humble me and make me see just how flawed I am and how often I am off course from the path God created for me.

I hope today that you are feeling honored to be God's creation, I know I am as I write this. We are not called to be perfect, we are just called to worship Him, trust in Him, and most of all we are called to trust in the blood of the lamb to wash my crimson sins as white as snow. What a simple thing to do, what a simple step of faith, when we can already see all that Christ has done for us. Rejoice today for the love of God and the perfect world that He made for us to live in. God is loving you
