Wow that is about as surprising and exciting as watching grass grow. Good luck to both though, andhopefully this marriage will workout when both of their previous marriages did not. Good luck, don’t cheat on each other, and DON’T TURN YOUR MARRIAGE INTO A REALITY SHOW!!!
Garth Brooks lives about a mile or so from my dad, and generally keeps a pretty low profile. I got the impression that he abandoned his music career specifically because it ruined his marriage, and he didn’t want it to get between him and his daughters, as well.

That is good to hear. They both seem nice, but they both have past marriage “issues”, which lead to failed marriages. Our prayer is that they have both have matured and that they will be togather for the long term. We also do not want to see another celebrity marriage reality show.
It is good to hear that Garth is picking family over career though as that is rare today. Of course by his own admission he made more money then his grand children will be able to spend and Trisha still has regular employment so if thing get “tough” they will still have some money coming in…** LOL *** . Good stuff though and thanks for commenting.

Good advice about the reality show, although it sounds like Garth has already started one. Trisha’s first husband, BTW, was a boy from Oak Ridge, a recording engineer who helped her get her start and then apparently became one of the casualities of her fame.
