Fighting the intelligence war
Joshua from RazorKiss has had two excellent post about Katrina, the real conditions in Southern Mississippi (where he lives), and the real facts about what is going on. Reporting directly from Gulfport Joshua talks of relief, government response, local views, and notes both the positive and negative coverage that media has provided. He even thanks BellSouth for getting the lines back up for phones, based on my personal experience with Bell South that they even got there is a miracle, but that is a story in itself.
Continuing on, Joshua / RazorKiss has a follow up post in response to a comment from his original post that portrayed him (Joshua) as less then compassionate, responsible for the disaster, racist, and lacking in personal character and responsibility. Long time readers of RazorKiss.net know that such accusations against Joshua are just not true.
I’ll do the honorable thing, all right. I’ll tell you to get a freaking clue, get off your fat butt, and DO something, if you’re so all-fired worried about it.
That’s what WE are all doing down here, bucko. Whether in New Orleans, or in Mississippi. We don’t need your parsimonious concern, your veiled allegations, your willful neglect, or your “principled” disdain.
You’re nothing. Nothing but an armchair commentator.
I’m right in the center of Katrina Country, bub. Don’t tell ME what is happening. I’m living it.
The need for this follow up post to even exist is a good example of how some people just want to argue and yell because they do not want to take the time to really look into the facts are being discussed. Good stuff Razor, good points, good facts, keep it up, and know that we in the volunteer state are doing everything we can to help you via supplies, relief and prayer.
