Free Web Development Software
Ron Shank of Shanktified has a post this AM about a piece of FREE software called NVU that is supppose to be as powerful as Dreamweaver and/or Frontpage (personally I think the Win Notepad is about as powerful as Front Page but hey that is just me — ** NOTE TO FIREFOX USERS ** - you can not visit the Microsoft web site if you are using Firefox (at least from my personal experiance on all 5 of my machinces), you must use IE, just one more reason to dislike the Redmond mob)
Moving on, Ron says he has given the software but a brief look, but it looks good. I swung by and looked at the site, screenshots, and read the claims, etc, looks pretty nice to me as well, but I have not downloaded or run it yet. I may try to do that next week and report back, we will see.
For all the Linux fan’s, it is open source and seems to be geared to the Linux enviroment, though it is suppose to run on Windows boxes, and Mac’s as well. Interesting stuff, give NVU a look, and give
