Saunder’s stepping down

Randy Sanders is stepping down as UT’s offensive cordinator effective later today. He will remain on as QB coach for at least the rest of the year. Sanders and Fulmer will share play calling duties until the end of the season. His future with the team past the end of the season is not known at this time. More news to follow….

You knew something had to happen after Saturday. It was too ugly to continue, especially after being so close so many times the week before with Alabama and having a offense that could not produce points even when in the red zone. This season UT has score less point then they have in over 30 years. That is terrible for a team, but even worse when the team was suppose to be a top 5 powerhouse this season.

Stat that says it all - the Vols are ranked 108th nationally out of 117 Division I-A programs for scoring offense.
