Are you willing to be humilated to get revived

John T Brown from Scot Wise ask just that question with his post (here) on revival and what real revival means and what it takes. John T also refers a recent piece by Dan Eledon from Cerulean Sanctum - post here - which ask if another reformation (a return to God first, not some state religion) is possible and if real reformation ever ended. Like John T I believe it is possible for another reformation (again personal faith and belief, not enforced central doctrine) to occur, but I know that personal revival must come first.

Revival are not usually preceded by the awakening of the Church to a sense of need, but by the awakening of devout souls here and there, who feeling the need, begin to entreat God in prayer for a revival. - From Scotwise’s Post

Amen
