Mandatory Lifestyle
Van Helsing has a post over at The Wide Awakes arguing that it will be (already is in some cases he says) mandatory for everyone to support the homosexual lifestyle or suffer repercussions. Van’s post here
I do not think that the situation is a bad, or as far gone, as Van H thinks, in most cases. I do think there is definitely a segment of society that views anyone / anything that disagrees with homosexuality as being someone / something that needs to be silenced though. Simply because part of society is that way does not mean that all of society is that way. A part definitely is thought and those that speak out or disagree with homosexuality are definitely viewed by many elites as being simplistic and uneducated.
This situation is not unique to the area of homosexuality though. There are parts of society that would silence anything or anyone that disagrees with them, regardless of the topic or the issue, thus the reason that free speech (even if it is unpopular) is so important within society. Those that desire to silence all that oppose them are by their actions saying that the opposition is less valuable \ less of a citizen then themselves. I personally detest the KKK, and the Black Panthers too, but I think that both should be able to speak. The danger with silencing a particular view today is that someday your view may be the one that is being silenced if the situation flips.
