Lance Armstrong will never be my favorite cyclist. Lance Armstrong never will be or never was the greatest cyclist of all time (Merckx owns that title), but Lance Armstong is the greatest Tour De France rider EVER. That jersey will always be his, as he earned it and then walked away while on top.
Even with all the drama of this years tour before it starts Armstrong alone still controls and owns the tour and he will for the forseeible future.
Enjoy the ride, but never forget who brought you to the race.
