Bad Drug Test
For those that have not heard of it before a bit of background first. There was a drug test in a North London hospital last march that paid people 2000 British Pounds (about $3,700) to be human guiene pigs for a new drug trail. It turns out the drug being tested causes cancer, and numerous other fatel dieases / aliments (kidney, heart, & liver failure being the most serious), and the people that were in the test will likely die within the next few years. The “patients” are sueing and may get about 5 million pounds if they win their case. Story about the case in the SUnday Times here.
