No Special Election in Knox County

The Knox County Commission just voted 8 for, 10 against, and 1 pass on the issue of requesting the right to have a special election from the state. That means there will likely NOT be a special election to deal with the appointed council people whose “appointments” raised so many questions a few weeks ago. The people wanted a special election from what I have seen and heard. This is a example of politicians wanting to protect themselves and not worrying about the will of the people. I hope voters remember all of this the next time there is a county commission race.
