Not one “red” cent
Basil from Basil Blog is calling for all Republicans, and even Republican leaning voters, to withhold their contributions to the GOP. In other words – not “one red cent” for the party that is portrayed in red on national maps.
Basil, who considers himself a conservative who votes Republican normally – though he is NOT a registered Republican, thinks such action may wake the GOP up related to conservatives and may also result in more money in your pocket (interest off the un-donated money) in the end. Basil, who wants Fred Thompson to run, hopes that the Republicans will find their core conservative values again and offer up a candidate in the Goldwater and Reagan line not the Bush / Ford line.
