ZORB America
Well ZORB the New Zealand idea of fun - rolling down a hill inside of a large rubber ball with some water in the bottom - is coming to America and the first stop it East TN. It seems that Zorb is coming to Pigeon Forge (Gateway to Gatlinburg) and will be opening later this year. Full details at Knoxville TN Blog here
I am personally willing to a beta tester for this project (Zorb Smokey’s contact me at the email below), and willing to put $5 dollars into the Micheal Silence and R. Neil dual Zorb ride festival if and when it occurs. I would kick in $10 to watch Dave Foulk from News Talk 100, who is a Seymour resident, get in the Zorb.
Personally this thing as always seemed like something that myself and my friend Greg would have done on a dare when we were 8, right after we built ramps out of scrap wood and jumped over each other and the neighbors. I guess we were Johnny Knoxville before P.J. Clapp ever thought of it, or before he crossed the Gay Street Bridge at least.
