Sigmund, Carl and Alfred had a reader (”correspondent” in their terms) post them back about their Weekly Wednesday Whacky Awards this week. Specifically “correspondent” commented on South Dakota Legislature Republican Rep. Ted Klaudt who turned himself in charges involving the raping of eight children and/or legislative pages. The “correspondent” wondered the following -
Did he stop being a republican? I should think not! Naturally he was
‘pro-life’ anti-gay, and conservatively religious as well…
This statement lead SC & A to dive in and examine what exactly defines a conservative, how that differs from being a Republican. SC & A then looks at the nature of the Democratic party and some of their habits as well.
