Donovan GONE, Pearl Rising
With Billy Donovan leaving the Florida Gators to coach the Orlando Magic I think Bruce Pearl’s SEC power just increased. Donovan, and his Gators, were definitely the 800lb gorilla in the SEC when it came to the national press, even though UT did beat them last year. With VCU’s coach likely coming to Florida I doubt Florida will drop that much, but still any less press going to the Gators means more of a chance for UT and Pearl to look stronger nationwide.
