The Telco FTTH / FTTP Revolution

Broadbandreports.com / DSLreports.com has a post up that reports on a iSuppli study which predicts that FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and FTTP (Fiber to the Premises) from Telco broadbands will leap ahead of cable based ISP / broadband services by 2012. I think that is a bit optomistic at best, and I doubt it will happen that quickly. Wonder why I think that, note how long it takes AT&T to get ANYTHING rolled out and you will know the answer. Even with that fact, this is still a interesting post and a technology trend to follow. Post Here
