Reasons to Love Jesus
Sigmund, Carl and Alfred has a post up, answering a meme from The Anchoress, about “five reasons I love Jesus”. (Post Here) Overall it is a nice post, but SC & A leaves the main reason I love Jesus out - He died on the cross to pay for my sins. That may be SC &A’s #1 reason - has he leaves it blank for “personal reasons” - and truthfully I hope it is as I want to meet SC & A face to face in heaven.
In the comments Leslie hits on another great characteristic of Christianity - Christianity is the only world religion where God comes to those that He saves and rewards them with eternity solely based on His actions / activities, instead of requiring the person to change themselves to attain eternal reward. There is power in the blood, power in the blood.
