Ron Paul…really…
Pink Kitty at Pink Kitty’s Scratching Post found a epiphany at World Net Daily about Ron Paul about 10 days ago. She decided to share that article with her readers. I’m not clear as to whether or not this post means you’re Paul supporters, but if so, let me be the first to welcome you all aboard the Ron Paul bandwagon. It’s unlikely he’ll win, but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - this guy’s a higher quality conservative candidate than ANY of those other phonies the GOP is puking out for their constituents this election cycle. I’d be absolutely THRILLED if this guy snuck away with the nomination, because it would force conservative voters to examine the REAL issues of importance in their lives, and not simply flock rank and file behind the GOP talking heads who win elections by repeating the all-too-tired “9/11, America, support the troops, you’re with us or you’re with them” party line hogwash. Paul is a decent man with decent ideas, and although I can’t in good conscience vote for someone so much farther to the right than I am, I can most certainly respect his representation of genuine conservative principles.
