One of Swap Blog’s best friends on the blogosphere (and a man we have had the honor of meeting in the real world) is Milton Stanley of Transforming Sermons. Milton is a great guy and a great blogger as well.

Milton is also a wise man - i.e. he is smart enough to take a break from blogging every so often
Currently Milton is taking a few days away from the keyboard and he is having Bob from In The Clearing feel in. In our opinion, like it matters, Bob is doing a great job of keeping up Milton’s tradition of good posts that encourage believers, especially those that minister and lead within the body, going while Milton is away. Bob’s last two posts at Transforming Sermons are examples of that work.

Bob’s most recent post at Transforming Sermons is one which bounces off a post by Jon Clayton at Laboring in The Lord and is on the true definition of a radical church - which is one that goes beyond being categorized. This post should act as a challenge for all churches (especially for church leaders).

The post Bob put up on Monday (7/7/08) was just as well thought out and just as challenging. It is based on a post by J.T. Hatfield at Voice of Vision and calls out correctly that the problems of the world do not come from your lack of success but because of our sins. We (and our sin) are the problem. Post here.
