Keeping with the last story about cycling news, it seems that 2009 may be the first year of a new “grand tour”, this one being the Tour Of America. The race has 10 million in prize money and covers 3500Km (2200 miles) in 23 days. If they pull it off I may have to call in sick where I can see the Richmond to Indianapolis IN stage or the Columbus to Dayton OH stage. Time will tell, but I like the overall idea, though a Southern swing in 2010 would be great.
