ReactOS project
I went and checked out ReactOS again today to check the progress of this open source project. It is still in mid Alpha phase, but it is progressing.
For those that do not know ReactOS is a project attempting to make a MS compatible OS which is free, which is not based on Linux, and which runs / uses most if not all existing PC programs. Heady and cool stuff if they pull it off.
If you are interested in the project - as a end user or a developer - swing by and give them a look and consider finding your place of service / use in the ReactOS project. The site is well laid out and there is a place of use / service for almost any person in this project - be it user, tester, coder or funder.
